Every day I heard their voices.
Not this Katherine. Not this.
But I couldn't live like this anymore.
It wasn't fair to the little girl within me.
As I tried on my wedding dress one final time, the veil of denial finally lifted and all of my truths were released in a flood of determined realization.
I broke free of the Mask of the dutiful bride and gasping for precious air I declared ENOUGH.
