Your support is overwhelming

Reflecting on the events of the past week, I wanted to share a few thoughts. 

First, though I didn't quite know what to expect, I never could have predicted such overwhelming kindness and support. The gratitude I feel for your belief in me and this project is absolutely staggering. The encouragement, connection, and the sheer abundance of love I’ve felt is nothing short of life-affirming.  

From reconnecting with friends I haven’t spoken to in decades, to building new relationships with readers who I’ve only met in passing. The deep impact of these interactions is almost indescribable. 

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Second, as the ripples of this book launch slowly dispersed across our joint networks, I was struck by the resonance readers experienced with the core messages of Calling It Off.

In the Introduction to the book, I shared that this tale is more than a “me” story–rather, it is a “we” story, and the comments, posts, DM’s, and texts that rolled in these past few days have only proved that fact.

This book is about so much more than a wedding. First and foremost it’s about our relationship-to-self, and I am grateful to hear that this message rang true. 

So, if you come across anyone who needs to read this story, please forward them this email, buy them a copy, or even connect us on Instagram. I want nothing more than to help as many people as possible, and the only way to achieve this goal is to continue the effort together. 

Finally, this is just the start of Calling It Off’s journey. For in truth, it isn’t mine to own anymore. 

The book is now entirely about the messages and the perspectives that readers take away from it, so all I can do is hope that your takeaways are positive, meaningful and impactful in your lives. 

I hope it brings you an abundance of courage, authenticity, self-trust and ultimately the deepest self-love imaginable, in the same way that your support has brought those exact same gifts to me.
